Due to the extensive decay of the door, permission was granted to remove the door from the property, for a full restoration in our workshop.
Full restoration began with the door being de-constructed. Components that were beyond repair were copied, manufactured and replaced. The door was then re-assembled in the same traditional way it would have been when manufactured when new.
The door frame received small repairs to the jambs, the door was re-installed with the original ironmongery and decorated.
